Acupuncture & Chinese herbalism

Restore the body's balance and stimulate its own recovery mechanisms.

Veterinary acupuncture and Chinese herbalism: medicinal Chinese herbs and a stone mortar

We almost always use them together: acupuncture moves what has become stuck, and the herbs hold that work in place between one session and the next. At the first visit we look at your pet as a whole — how she stands, how she eats, how she sleeps — before deciding which points and which formula are right for her.

They are an excellent option for pain management, neurological disease, musculoskeletal disorders, digestive problems, allergies and chronic illness. We treat dogs, cats, horses and other species this way, and in most cases the application is painless: many patients fall asleep during the appointment.
