Proudly native to Monterrey, Nuevo León, Dr. Luis Gutiérrez graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. After successfully practicing private equine medicine (show jumping horses) until 2005, he pivoted to small animal care, opening his own clinic in 2006.

A pioneer in integrative medicine in Mexico, Dr. Gutiérrez earned his certification in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) through IVAS in 2014, the same year he founded “The Natural Vets de México” — the country's first clinic dedicated exclusively to natural veterinary therapies. Subsequently, in 2017, he consolidated his specialization with a certification in Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine (IVAS/CIVT), followed by an Advanced Chinese Herbal Medicine certification in 2021.

Today, he treats dogs, cats, and horses across Mexico, has been published in specialized international journals, and lectures nationally and internationally. He stands out for his innovative approach, integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, geriatric animal rehabilitation, and myofascial system treatments into a comprehensive, holistic model of care.

Dr. Ramírez graduated with honors as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Following graduation, she established and managed her own small animal practice in her hometown, where she practiced conventional veterinary medicine for over 12 years.

In 2015, she began her studies at the Pitcairn Institute of Veterinary Homeopathy, an experience that transformed her perspective on veterinary medicine and integrative animal care. She is a Certified Veterinary Homeopath (CVH) since 2018 and has lectured nationally and internationally on veterinary homeopathy.

In recognition of her professional contributions and dedication to veterinary medicine, Dr. Ramírez received the Professional Excellence Award from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in 2019. Expanding her commitment to holistic healthcare, she pursued formal studies in human homeopathy beginning in 2020 at the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy and later at the Prometheus Homeopathic Institute, from which she graduated in 2024.

She has completed studies in ozonetherapy, natural nutrition, and natural supplementation for animals.

Dr. Ramírez currently serves as Secretary of the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy and as the Mexican Representative of the International Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy. Through her clinical practice, teaching, and international collaborations, she is dedicated to advancing integrative and homeopathic medicine for both animals and people, promoting compassionate, individualized, and patient-centered care with special focus on chronic disease management.
